Alex’ favorite pastime fall into the categories of- knowing all the chisme, keeping it real, drinking champagne in the pool on our days off, and being the most badass nurse on the other side of that Broward county line. She coined the name “Samnsa Lopez” before Chris and I were even a thing and she is responsible for the best wedding hashtag EVER #livinlavidalopez

Meeting Petey nearly 10 years ago, I would have never imagined he would become one of the best home improvers since Tim Allen. His beard is locally respected and was once rated as the #17 thing to see while in Miami according to TripAdvisor.

Sarrah was the first person who spoke to me in Grenada- clearly we didn't think that meant anything as we were both shellshocked. She asked me for the WiFi password and I thought her kid was cute. Our friendship blossomed when she asked me to babysit Jaxon, because I was one of the "responsible looking ones" in our class. Sarrah, even living 1,188 miles away has been a rock in my life. Our daily conversations consist of “why did we go to vet school?”, baby Jaxson, how hard it is to eat well, our husbands (future and real, hi Zach!), and how to keep sane on the day to day.

Big brother since 1989 and has been taking the golf fashion world by storm since 2016. Mike holds the undisputed course record for most consecutive appearances without repeating an outfit. People often confuse him with pro golfers...until he tees off.

What happens when your fiancés sister is also your sorority sister? Basically, a constant Lopez family ally. Chris likes to think that he's responsible for our friendship; what he doesn't realize is that I knew I was going to be Daisys friend before we started dating. She has always been our biggest cheerleader; and Chris' constant voice of reason/logic (thanks Daisy!). It's always fun to tell people that we were sisters before Chris and I got engaged- but I couldn't be happier to be gaining a real little sister.

Alexis, who will ALWAYS be Lexi to me, is the big sister I never had. Lexi and I became fast-friends in undergrad, some would say inseparable (our moms had the other on speed dial). We were together through it all- the good, the bad, and the ugly. We learned that theres nothing a good Sex and the City marathon, Tropical Smoothie, some Andre, or a night out in midtown couldn't fix. Lexi is both the angel and the devil on my shoulder, more so the Angel now since the whole law school thing. But with a little coercing I’m sure we’ll see a little bit more Lexi, and less Alexis on our wedding day.

I remember meeting Cesar in the Delta Chi house close to a decade ago, he told me a story about leaving his sunroof open and it rained and his car flooded... I knew instantly we would be great friends. Today, between muscle ups and snatches, Cesar often finds the time to meet up for coffee in the lobby during work hours. He’s unquestionably the strongest of my friends, with his computer keyboard sporting weighted keys and a desk phone weighing 12 pounds for conference call curls.

Most people don't know this but Genesis and I have known each other since middle school. We stayed acquainted throughout high school and our senior year we took a leap of faith in decided to be roommates our first year of college. She always made sure I ate a real meal (homemade stuffed shells, AH-MAZING!) and never let me watch Sex and the City by myself. Genesis helped me put up my first big girl Christmas tree at 1 am after a bad day, and til this day she makes sure to make my bad days better.

He really is a Chilean Seabass. Meeting in 2007, we rushed together, pledged together and got initiated together. We were even roommates at one point. And how does he repay me? By moving to the opposite end of the country! His 63rd favorite pastime is teaching others how to dougie.

There are few people in this world who can live with me during the most stressful time in my life and come out still loving me in the end. Jess, my "work wife", and I were completely inseparable during veterinary school. No one ever said Sam, it was always "Sam and Jess." No one really knows this but Jess was the first person who found out Chris and were engaged! One perfectly timed text message about the Big Bang Theory (our shared love) and BOOM she got the big news!

Sophia is the baby of the family, and apparently the most like me according to all of the Costa women. It's been said that we have the same eye-roll, annoyed facial expressions, skin color, thick hair and rid-bits of personality. I am so excited to have Sophi as a part of the wedding, bringing together all of the Costa girls for such an amazing time of my life.

I don't think Havana knows this but we kinda had a bumpy start- I was the only girl in the family and so clearly I was the favorite. I remember the day I found out my tia was having a little girl... my entire world shifted (I was 8, and melodramatic)... ! Now I have a beautiful bridesmaid to stand by me on our big day, Havana I am so honored that you'll be there with me representing all the love from New Jersey.
