When is my RSVP due?

Answer

Please RSVP no later than July 25, 2019. That said - the sooner, the better! Planning a large event from out of town is no small task. If you're able to let us know earlier, please do!

Should I eat before the Welcome Reception on Friday?

Answer

Yes, please eat dinner before the cocktail party at 6:30 pm. Some delicious suggestions to book in advance: Coquette: Located in the Garden District (20 min walk from the quarter). A bit fancier but worth every penny. Sylvain: Located in the FQ, great food and atmosphere. I love the pasta bolognese, but Matt opted for a burger. You can't go wrong either way. Peche: Delicious seafood! Fish sticks are amazing- seriously. Parkway: Best po'boys in the city! The Joint: BBQ in the Bywater! What time should we be at the ceremony?

Ceremony begins at 6. seating begins at 5:30 pm.

Who is more likely to cry throughout the evening?

Lauren says Matt, and Matt says Lauren. Show up to find out!

What's the dress code?

Answer

You already know we're not black tie folks! We want you to find that balance between "stoked to be photographed in this" and "happy to party the night away in an outdoor courtyard in this". If you've really gotta put labels on it, cocktail attire is just fine. For the guys, jackets aren’t required, but please no jeans or shorts. Short-sleeve button-ups are okay too. Average temperature in September is 80+

We love your kids—we really do! But we want our wedding to be your night off! New Orleans is known for the night life so we're asking you make arrangements to ensure you can take it all in!

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

If your invitation specifies "and guest," we can't wait to see you. If not, we'd prefer it's just you.
