Things To Do

Gathering Place

2650 S John Williams Way E, Tulsa, OK 74114

This beautiful park designed by Michael Van Valkenburgh and completed in the fall of 2018 is less than a mile from Hayley and Ryan's house (and the ceremony and reception venue) and is definitely worth checking out while you're in town.

Mother Road Market

1124 South Lewis Avenue, Tulsa, OK 74104
, (918) 984-9001

This place has been open for about a year now and it's an excellent place to visit to get a true flavor for Tulsa. Lost of local restaurants have pop-up shops here and there are several boutiques and/or booths selling local goods - even a local grocer as well. Plus, there is a bar and a great patio. With different food options for everyone, it's the perfect place to go with a big group.

Philbrook Museum of Art

2727 South Rockford Road, Tulsa, OK 74114
, (918) 748-5300

A few weeks into dating, Hayley took Ryan hear to see a visiting Warhol exhibit. Ryan was probably more impressed by the building and the gardens than the art, which he can't be faulted for. The Philbrook gardens are pretty striking!

Brookside By Day

3313 South Peoria Avenue, Tulsa, OK 74105
, (918) 745-9989

One of Hayley & Ryan's favorite casual breakfast joints. The patio sits along busy Brookside and offers some great people watching.

Tally's Good Food Café

1102 South Yale Avenue, Tulsa, OK 74112
, (918) 835-8039

A Tulsa institution. If you're into cinnamon rolls and/or classic diner fare, Tally's is worth checking out. If you're feeling a bit under the weather after all of the festivity, Tally's has also been known to cure a hangover or two.

DoubleShot Coffee Co

1633 South Boulder Avenue, Tulsa, OK 74119
, (918) 280-9243

The best coffee in town.

Dalesandro's

1742 South Boston Avenue, Tulsa, OK 74119
, (918) 582-1551

If you get into town a night or two early and are looking for a good bite to eat, you can't go wrong with this place. It's our favorite Italian restaurant in town. We recommend the swordfish, the stuffed shells, and literally everything else on the menu.

Gilcrease Museum

1400 North Gilcrease Museum Road, Tulsa, OK 74127
, (918) 596-2700

This museum just north of downtown boasts the world's largest collection of art from the American West and is definitely worth checking out if you find yourself with some time to kill while in town.

Woody Guthrie Center

102 East Mathew B. Brady Street, Tulsa, OK 74103
, (918) 574-2710

A neat place to visit if you're at all interested in music and history. It's also conveniently located in the Arts District where you'll find numerous shops, bars, and restaurants - all within walking distance from the Hotel Indigo as well!

Valkyrie

13 East Mathew B. Brady Street, Tulsa, OK 74103
, (918) 295-2160

Excellent place to grab a great cocktail while you're in town. Give the bartender a list of adjectives describing the kind of drink you're in the mood for and prepare to be impressed when he/she serves you the cocktail you didn't even know you wanted.
