FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

September 13, 2019

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony is set to begin at 5:00 p.m. We recommend arriving ten minutes early so you have time to select a seat and grab a glass of prosecco to sip on during the ceremony. There will be complimentary valet parking so you will not need to worry about finding a parking spot.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Cocktail attire, or whatever your typical wedding attire is - this is not a black tie event.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Yes.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Unfortunately, due to occupancy constraints both the ceremony and reception will be adults-only.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

YES. A block of rooms has been reserved at the Hotel Indigo. It was newly constructed in 2018 and boasts an excellent rooftop bar and a great location, within walking distance to many great bars and restaurants including Elgin Park (where the casual rehearsal dinner will take place). To take advantage of the group rate, please use the link below when making reservations: https://www.hotelindigo.com/redirect?path=asearch&brandCode=IN&localeCode=en&regionCode=1&hotelCode=TULID&checkInDate=11&checkInMonthYear=092019&checkOutDate=13&checkOutMonthYear=092019&rateCode=6CBARC&_PMID=99801505&GPC=STE&viewfullsite=true Other great options include: Tulsa Club Hotel, the Mayo Hotel, and the Ambassador

Question

Will there be assigned seating during the reception?

Answer

No. While there will be reserved seating for the wedding party and immediate family members in the main living room of the mansion, the floor plan at the Dresser is best suited for a relaxed, rotating reception. In lieu of a formal seated dinner, there will be a buffet of heavy hors d'ouevres available and the couple invites you to explore the courtyard and various rooms in the mansion.

Question

When will dinner be served?

Answer

The ceremony should wrap up by 5:30 p.m., at which time a cocktail hour will commence with an open bar and passed canapes. In lieu of a formal seated dinner, dinner will consist of an eclectic buffet of heavy hors d'oeuvres which will open up to the guests shortly after the couple completes their first dance and is seated. (Approx. 6:30 p.m.)
