To understand the history of Morgan and Stephen, we need to go way back to the year 2000 when Morgan was in 2nd Grade and Stephen was in 3rd grade. Morgan and her family had just moved to Georgia from New Jersey where Stephen ended up in the same 3rd Grade class as her brother, Blake. Plot twist - Morgan and Stephen's sister, Dani, ended up being in the same 3rd grade class the next year! Stephen and Blake remained friends through their 8th grade year, and Morgan had a "middle school crush" on Stephen, but the Taylor family moved to Woodstock and they lost touch a bit. We all grew up and Stephen eventually found himself in the same classes as Blake in college. After being at the same parties that Blake threw, and attending the same fraternity events as Morgan was in a sorority and some of Stephen's best friends were in a Fraternity, you would think there would've been some interaction between Morgan and Stephen, but they miraculously never met. They were Facebook and Instagram friends of course, but never spoke in person. Fast forward to February 2021. Earlier in the month, Stephen posted some hunting pictures that Morgan saw and stalked his Facebook page. He was cute, could you blame her? A few weeks later, she is scrolling through Bumble, a dating app, and finds Stephen's profile. She of course immediately swiped right and to her surprise, it was an immediate match! To this day she says it is the greatest decision she ever made. After a few weeks of sporadic conversation, Stephen saying Morgan was "cute AF," and bonding over their dogs, they had their first date on March 7, 2021. They knew this was something special because just 20 days after their first date, Stephen asked Morgan to be his girlfriend on March 27, 2021. You would think the rest would be history, right? Lol - WRONG. We all know Morgan likes to keep Stephen on his toes - it keeps him young. In October of 2022, Morgan found out she was pregnant. After acceptance and love, Emerson McKenzie Luyo was born three months early on March 30, 2023 weighing 2.7 pounds. After spending three months in the hospital and proving everyone wrong (and her parents right), she has persevered and is a bubbly, spunky, loving (sometimes - those terrible twos hit a little too early) toddler. Our story isn't traditional, but it's ours and it's perfect the way it is.
