At the young ages of fourteen and fifteen we had mutual friends, but never had the opportunity to speak with one another. Nevertheless, in 2010, Carlos and I became friends on Myspace after hearing about each other for so long. Carlos casually writes on my profile, "I lost your number, can I have it again?" Of course, he never had my number, but the attempt was amusing. Since that very moment, we knew we were onto something special. As the days grew longer and months turned to years, our bond continues to grow. Often times, life comes at you pretty quick - from being high school sweet hearts, to getting through college and now experiencing how amazing parenthood can be.
