Kevin and Andrew have been friends since the awkward phases of middle school and high school when Andrew used to grift lunch from Kevin's house. Since then they've enjoyed pasta in Italy, sampled distilleries along the bourbon trail, and hiked in the scenic beauty of Patagonia. They bond over their shared love of travel, the outdoors, and sprawling, often esoteric, conversation.

Ariel and April have been posing as twins since grad school started in 2017! Since then, they have been on numerous adventures including becoming international friends, hiking the mountains of San Diego, and become local Asian food experts.

John and Andrew lived together for so long they should be legally married at this point. Between innumerable gaming sessions, IHOP take out orders, and Kilkenny Irish cream ales, they have formed a lifelong friendship that Andrew would be bereft without. Because John works on air traffic control systems and Andrew trusts John, he feels a little safer every time he flies.

Jessica and April have been conducting a food tour of the West Coast since 2020. They became fast friends during the wake of Covid while commiserating in the lab, but life has been full of adventures, food, and friendship since then!

Andrew has been unbelievably fortunate to have the built-in friendship of his older brother Alex for his whole life. They have shared successes, hardships, and so much more over a life spent bonding over family, Fallout, scouting -- the list goes on and on. Sometimes Andrew thinks about the earlier days when they would build LEGO cities on the air hockey table in the basement and he appreciates the level of creativity that Alex has maintained for his whole life.

Becky and April have been causing mischief and mayhem since 2017 when they met in the hallowed halls of UCSD's bioengineering building! Since then, they have been hiking and eating delicious Asian food together while plotting to take over the world

Bobby was the first friend Andrew made at college (and it was technically orientation so before the first day of classes). Philosophy, neuroscience, and particularly, a shared interest in meditation have yielded some of Andrew's favorite late night chats, some of which leave Andrew with unresolved questions to this day (Google panpsychism if you want a taste).
