We quickly connected online through a friendly competition on who works with bigger transformers. I knew there was something unique about this girl, so I asked her out. She said she likes outdoor bars, so I took her to the Katy Trail Ice House. Between her cute cowboy boots and the great conversation, I knew there was something special about this girl. I really enjoyed my time with Tim, but having just moved to Dallas, I was worried I started dating too early. Because of this, I friend-zoned poor Timothy. However, on our first date he had offered to take me sailing, which intrigued me since my dad sailed for fun in college. I asked if the offer was still on the table and thankfully he said yes. But out on the sailboat, I got to see Tim in his element. He was so confident and handsome, I began to think I made a mistake friend-zoning him too quickly. As if often does with me, the conversation eventually led to Disney. We had both recently seen Moana and were obsessed with the movie and songs. After belting them out on the sailboat, Tim invited me back to his apartment to watch the movie. Sailing and Disney! I knew he was the one. And as they say... the rest is history.
