Fort Wayne International Airport

Fly directly into Fort Wayne. Connecting flights to Chicago, Detroit, and Dallas. Rent a car or purchase a taxi/ride-share service to downtown.

Flight

Located 2 hours south of Fort Wayne, but with more extensive airline options. A rental car would be the most convenient way to travel to Fort Wayne, but public transport options may technically be available.

Flight

Rail transit is possible to the Waterloo station 45 minutes north of Fort Wayne, but renting a car would still be most convenient. This is an option if you would like to spend some time exploring the Windy City!

Travel Note

Downtown Fort Wayne

The reception is in Downtown Fort Wayne! Downtown is walkable to many restaurants, coffee houses, and bars. Fort Wayne’s public transport infrastructure is not well developed, so renting a car to get from the airport to the hotels is the best option. Once in downtown, it is safe to walk and enjoy the area. We love downtown and really miss our old hangouts! Fort Wayne now has an open container exemption in the downtown area. That's right! Fort Wayne is cool! :) The "Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area", or DORA, encompasses Parkview Field and most of the surrounding downtown areas and hotels. Please visit the website to explore DORA's Map and Authorized Vendors.
