What should I wear?

Answer

This event is non-ceremonial and non-traditional, so whatever is comfortable; however, we do recommend fall wedding attire, such as: Button-up shirt with clean jeans or slacks; Fall dresses or nice sweaters with slacks. No need for monkey suits. Monkeys themselves can be dangerous around young children and are also not allowed.

Where should I park?

Answer

Parking at Parkview Field is in the Silver Parking Lot. (Please see "Map" on the invites) Walk to the Parkview Field entrance on the side. There should be signs pointing to the Lincoln Financial Event Center. (Right side of the field if you are looking out at home base) Bicycle racks are scattered around the entrances to Parkview Field. For rickshaw parking, please contact event staff.

Where is the reception?

Answer

The reception is located in the Lincoln Financial Event Center inside Parkview Field. Signs indicating the location of the event center are present throughout the ballpark. If entering along Jefferson Blvd, the event center is to the left. If parking in the Silver Lot, the event center to the right.

Are children welcome?

Answer

Children are welcome, of course! Johnny TinCap, the mascot for the Fort Wayne TinCaps, will be available from 4-5pm to take pictures with the kids and guests. This is a relaxed, easy-going affair without the traditional formalities. Parents will delighted that their children can become sugar intoxicated with the ice cream bar, cookies, and brownies!
