Things To Do

Last October, National Geographic ranked Milwaukee as one of the world’s 25 Best Places to Visit in 2023. Here are just a few of the many things to do.

Milwaukee Art Museum

700 North Art Museum Drive, Milwaukee, WI 53202

You can’t miss this unique structure perched along the banks of Lake Michigan. The museum’s 40+ galleries house a wide range of works from ancient to modern times. Of special note is the industrial design collection on the first floor; it honors Milwaukee’s world leadership in the field.

Harley-Davidson Museum

400 West Canal Street, Milwaukee, WI 53201

The Harley Davidson Museum houses a corporate history of Milwaukee’s iconic company plus a collection of motorcycles past and present. This is the place for you if you were born to be wild.

Grohmann Museum

1000 North Broadway, Milwaukee, WI 53202

Located on the Milwaukee School of Engineering Campus, this museum’s collection of paintings and sculptures represents the evolution of human work. It also features a rooftop sculpture garden with an excellent view of the downtown.

Best Place at the Historic Pabst Brewery

917 West Juneau Avenue, Milwaukee, WI 53233

Best Place offers an excellent history tour of the Pabst Brewing Company and the beer industry in Milwaukee (samples included).

Bradford Beach

2400 North Lincoln Memorial Drive, Milwaukee, WI 53211

Bradford Beach is Milwaukee’s public Lake Michigan beach at the north east corner of the city. You can always find a pickup volleyball game.

Lakefront Brewery

1872 North Commerce Street, Milwaukee, WI 53212

This popular brewpub/brewery is actually located along the Milwaukee River (not the lake). Here you can sample the brewery’s extensive line of handcrafted beers as well as Wisconsin cheese curds. Brewery tours/tastings are also available.

Milwaukee Brewers

American Family Field, 1 Brewers Way, Milwaukee, WI 53214

If you’re a baseball fan, the Brewers play the Pirates in a weekend four game series! Be sure to enjoy the famous sausage race!

SafeHouse

779 North Front Street, Milwaukee, WI 53202

Many places will offer cheese curds, pretzels, and beer. We especially recommend this one. We would tell you more, but the details are classified. You’ll enjoy it.

For all the days along the way
