Doesn't matter where. Just do it. Trust us. Franklin's is the most iconic spot in Austin, but it will require you to wait in line for 3 plus hours. Iron works, Rudy's, Stubbs, Coopers are all great options too.
World famous Sixth Street, (6th Street) in downtown Austin, is known for its bars and live music. Although it’s a cliché to say so, no visit to Austin is complete without at least a brief tour of this famous street. Forewarning.. the street gets blocked off at night because it gets so crazy so plan to uber closeby and walk or else go during the daytime.
