We're getting married!

In 2017, we met in the lame way that most millenials do these days - "The Apps" - but quickly realized this was more than just a swipe right. At the time, Liv had just moved from the northeast to start her PhD in marine biology at the University of Miami, and Josh was, of all things, a shark photographer working at the University. Our shared love of the ocean, wildlife, and all things outdoors instantly connected us, and we realized pretty soon that we'd found our ultimate adventure buddies in one another. Fast forward to spring 2023 - in THE ultimate romantic gesture for an animal fanatic like Liv, Josh proposed in Botswana's Okavango Delta while we were visiting an organization that rescues and rehabilitates orphaned baby elephants. He even arranged for a baby elephant, Sandy, to bring over the ring. (Sickeningly cute, right?!) Although many things - including our deep mutual admiration, dark senses of humor, dog parenthood, and obsessions with tasty food - bond us as a couple, our shared passion for adventure and the outdoors still remains one of our strongest connections. We can't wait to continue this theme with you as we celebrate our marriage - outside and on the water, of course - in beautiful Cocoa Beach, Florida. Josh grew up in the area, and we're so excited to share this special place with our closest family and friends.
