Thank you for sharing in our special day

Alex and Meghan were both guests at a wedding in Harvard, IL. They bonded over the mutual annoyance for another guest at their table who was convinced he could microwave a full turkey and refused to use bar soap because “it adds a layer of filth”. Alex escorted Meghan to the open bar where he “buys” her a beer and they spend the rest of the night dancing and crashing the other weddings that were held at this same venue. At the end of the night, Alex tried to drive Meghan back to her hotel room, but Meghan was not having it because after all “that's how people get trafficked”. Alex, the gentleman that he is, met Meghan at the hotel with the bridal party where he provided her a Taco Bell dinner and she disappeared into the night having denied him her number, but providing her snapchat. The next day, Meghan began to see red flags with Alex in that he was only contacting her via snapchat. Alex kindly pointed out that he had been texting Meghan, but she was not receiving his texts. After some detective work, it was discovered that Alex had somehow gotten Meghan's number, texted her the night of the wedding, but she drunkenly blocked his number that night. Overall alcohol induced shenanigan's brought together this beautiful love and it continues to grow years later.

The weekend prior, Alex and Meghan spent some time hunting at her family farm. Unknown to her, it was then that Alex asked her father, Ben, for her hand in marriage. That next weekend, Meghan joined Alex in Illinois for family pictures. Midway through the shoot the videographer (whom Meghan knew was a family friend and assumed he was shooting the family for advertising purposes) told Alex he was simply too tall for the photo and needed to get down by their dog, Knox. A few moments passed and Alex said “Hey, can I interest you in a new last name? Will you marry me?”. Meghan unintentionally facepalms herself, then cries and says yes! The family photoshoot turned into engagement pictures filled with love, sunsets, champagne, and ring pops!
