4th Street

4th Street, Tucson, AZ 85719

4th street has multiple different bars and shops to visit! Definitely a cool spot to see what makes Tucson unique. It's walkable from the hotel if you're up for a couple mile stroll or you can Uber or hop on the Sunlink--Tucson's public transportation train--you'll see it around University Blvd. by the hotel!

University Blvd

The hotel is one block off of University Blvd. There are multiple shops, restaurants, and bars on University--also solid people-watching because it's home to the "student" bars at night. There are great coffee shops and lunch locations during the day and highly recommend grabbing some pizza at No Anchovies while you're here!

Mount Lemmon

Mount Lemmon

5700 N Sabino Canyon Rd, Tucson, AZ 85750

Mount Lemmon is home to some of the most beautiful views in Tucson. It's about an hour drive from the hotel to the top of the mountain and you can stop along the way up to take in different views of the city. There is also a star gazing center at the top if you have time to spend an evening up there! There are also multiple trails to hike.

Tumamoc Hill

Tumamoc Hill, Tucson, AZ 85745

Looking for a more difficult hike? Head to Tumamoc Hill. It's about 3 miles total to the top and back down. The top is absolutely amazing! It's a paved hike and very popular for Tucson locals to visit and hike on the weekends. It's not too strenuous, but is an incline and definitely bring water!

Catalina State Park

Catalina State Park

11570 N Oracle Rd, Tucson, AZ 85737

This is where we got engaged! We've made it a habit to take Barney on hikes out here. The hikes aren't very strenuous at all and range from 1 mile to 5 miles depending on what trail you take. The views on the drive out there is worth the trip!

Seven Falls

Seven Falls

Absolutely beautiful hike/walk! You'll see the saguaro cacti Tucson is famous for and get to see flowing water and water falls. Hike it or take a tram to the top.

The University of Arizona

The hotel is essentially on U of A's campus. Grab a coffee on University Blvd. and walk through campus one morning. It's gorgeous!
