FAQs

If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out. We're happy to provide any tips about where to stay and what to do in Monterrey and Mexico.
Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

If you can help us RSVP on the site by August 7, that would be amazing. Our wedding planner will reach out to you to make final confirmations between 1-2 months before the wedding. Most likely the message will be in Spanish :).

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the events?

Answer

There will be shuttles from certain hotels (please look at the "Travel" section on the site). Uber is also widely available.

Question

Where can I do my hair and makeup?

Answer

A comfortable option is Glitzi, an online platform where you can hire services and they'll come to you at your hotel (https://glitzi.com.mx/). Another option is making an online reservation at one of the salons of Glam Express (https://www.glamexpress.mx/). Look for the one closest to you! For reference, make-up can cost an average of 50 USD and hair can go from 10-25 USD.

Question

What does semi-formal attire or semi-casual attire mean for the Welcome Reception?

Answer

The most important thing for us is that you're comfortable. The Welcome Reception is at the terrace of a museum, depending on the weather, it might get windy/chilly at night, so please come prepared. If you'd like some outfit ideas, take a look: https://pin.it/70UUssq

Question

What does formal attire mean for the Wedding Reception and Party?

Answer

Suit and tie for men and evening dresses for women! The event is mostly indoors, and slippers will be handed out to women at around midnight so you can change your shoes and keep on dancing until 5 am. If you would like to see some general ideas, take a look: https://pin.it/140ENHX

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Everyone is invited with a plus one. Just please let us know in your RSVP, so we can plan accordingly :).

Question

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

Depending on interest and confirmations, we're looking into planning tour options for those who come from abroad.

Question

What type of music do they play at Mexican weddings?

Answer

A lot of international music will be played, but if you want to learn the Mexican and Latin songs (and practice your Spanish!), take a look at this playlist: https://tinyurl.com/playlistlanda
