Hello friends, we wanted to share some information regarding the Corona virus and will update this site accordingly. LAST UPDATED ON 08/10/2020: We have decided to move forward with the wedding and will be taking ALL possible precautions and following all guidelines in accordance with the CDC. Thankfully, our venue is already mostly outside and we are working with the vineyard to try and set up some of the tables outside so that some of our guests have the option to sit outside during the reception portion of the wedding as well. Social distancing: We will be spacing all tables at least 6 feet from each other and limit seating to households/families to the best of our ability. Ceremony space will have more seats than necessary to allow proper spacing, additional seats will be provided away from the ceremony space if requested. Face covering: Masks will be required in order to attend wedding events. We will provide masks for our guests and should be worn when interacting with any bar tenders, food servers or anyone outside of your household. Hand sanitation: Hand sanitizers will be available for all guests to use throughout the venue. *We will do our best with the way food and drinks are distributed to minimize exposure.
It all started at the Noodles and Company on College Ave at Penn State. It was my first week of work and his last. This means that we almost didn't meet, I guess you can say it was fate?. I must have worked maybe one or two shifts with him, but that was all Kyle needed to know that he had met the girl of his dreams. The next time I saw him was at a Christmas party my coworkers invited me to and since Kyle was also close friends with my coworkers he happened to be there. He remembered me from Noodles and tried to talk to me all night. This is where we had our first kiss. We continued to see each other for the next six months. We worked out together, went on a few dates and became better and better friends. When the semester ended and went home for the summer we kept in touch via skype calls and Snapchat. After not seeing each other for a few months we decided to meet back up at Penn State for Arts Fest, right after his twenty-first birthday. For his birthday I decided to get him twenty-one gifts of all of the little things he likes, including me! I had planned on asking him to be my boyfriend as the last gift. Little did I know that he got me a little gift himself. It was a perfectly crafted shoe box made to appear that all that was inside was a piece of string, when I pulled the string it opened a secret compartment with an embarrassing picture that somebody took of us kissing at the Christmas party! If you don’t understand the significance of this, you need to understand that Spongebob is my favorite show and you must watch “The Secret Box'' episode before coming to our wedding! Alongside the picture, was a mango (my favorite fruit) and a letter he had written me ending with HIM asking me to be his girlfriend! So yes, he completely ruined his birthday gift but in the most wonderful way <3 Years later, here we are... still getting noodles any chance we get, traveling the world, enjoying life and each other.
