Wedding Day Schedule

Bring your bathing suits, camp chairs, and booze, friends! This isn't going to be your typical wedding day. We definitely don't stick to the norm. We'll start the day by meeting at a park in Eagle. At this point all invited to the wedding will head down to the start of our wedding float! We'll get married in the river, and whomever is going on the 3-4 hour float will hop on in and get moving down the river. All those who are not wanting to float will head back to the original meet-up point and can hang out at the park, or meander for a few hours. After the float, we'll be shuttled back to our pick-up point, quickly freshen up, and head to the park for some BBQ, dancing, and a variety of lawn games! Upon RSVPing, we'll ask that you specify whether you'll be floating, meeting for the quasi-wedding reception, or if you'll be doing both. Prepare yourselves folks, because its going to be an eventful and unforgettable day!

Where It All Starts!

10:00 am - 11:30 am

Town of Eagle Historic Museum
100 Fairgrounds Rd, Eagle, CO 81631

CASUAL PLEASE! The bride and groom will be marrying in beach attire.

First off, WE’RE PAYING FOR YOUR FLOAT, so don’t worry about that! We’ll be meeting at Eagle Visitor Center to head to the site of the ceremony together. Bring your camp chairs and blankets, which will be left at the park with a supervisor. At this time, all who are floating and all who are not will shuttle or drive with the busses to our ceremony site together. We'll be getting married in the water, and whomever is floating will hop in the water. Those who won't be floating can either head back to the park, or meander around Eagle for a few hours before the reception. If you're floating, please make sure you bring towels, sunscreen, and any booze you'd like to consume on the float in plastic bottles. Cans are welcome too, but please no glass! Also, the float is ADULT-ONLY! Kids are welcome to join at the park during the reception. Feel free to check out the awesome company we’re using for the float at www.turtletubing.com!

And the Fun Continues...

3:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Town of Eagle Historic Museum
100 Fairgrounds Road, Eagle, CO 81631

Feel free to hang out in your swimsuit, or put on something more comfortable. Please, don't go to the trouble of wearing anything fancy!

After the float, we'll meet back at the park after freshening up to eat BBQ and cake, enjoy some drinks, and play loads of lawn games. There will be a bit of the traditional dances with our parents, and of course, with one another. Feel free to bring your fishing poles if you have a license! KIDS WELCOME! We'll have beer and wine, but no hard alcohol because we don't want to deal with the permitting aspect. It's a picnic-style wedding!
