What should I pack?

SUNSCREEN!!!! Multiple Swimsuits. Cash. Bug spray. Hand sanitizer. Sneakers. Nice “resortwear.” For the girls: Longer maxi dresses, wedges, dresses or skirts that end right above your knee or below – no skintight bodycons here(save it for the Disco)! For the guys: Collared shirts (they can be short sleeve – heck, they should be!), pants/shorts that come below the knee .Tylonel/Motrin. After-sun moisturizer. Lip balm. Sunglasses. Passport. Hats. Tumblers and straws so that you can sip away on a larger drink without worrying about your drink getting warm! Make sure you get yo’ passport in advance!

What should I wear for the wedding?

Answer

The dress code is beach chic! For the ladies that means your sun dresses, maxi dresses or casual summer wear. For the men, you can wear your khakis shorts and a shirt with a collar! Shoes are optional for the wedding/cocktail hour since this will take place on the beachy sand. You will need to pull out your sandals, heels or shoes for the reception which will take place indoors!

Yes, please let us know ASAP so that when we pick food options we can accommodate you.

We are planning some excursions which are optional but we will add them to the events page once we reserve them!

How do I get to the hotel from the airport?

If you book through Teresa at Fox World Travel a shuttle from the hotel is included in the package!

How long should we stay in Mexico?

Answer

That is up to you! There are two packages through Teresa at Fox World Travel. One package is from Wednesday-Sunday and the second package is from Wednesday to Wednesday.

Do we have to book through your travel agent?

We have already blocked off rooms for our wedding guests! To be apart of our wedding festivities for no extra charge you must book through Teresa. Teresa worked really hard to get us the best deal that includes direct flights to and from Mexico as well as a shuttle to and from the airport.

Is it okay to take photos with my phone/camera?

Answer

We are looking forward to all the photos you take during the pre-ceremony and reception, but we ask that you keep your devices in your pockets or purses during the ceremony. We have hired an amazing photographer who will be traveling with us all to Mexico to capture these precious moments and would love you all to be present during this special time! After the wedding, feel free to tag us in your photos/videos on all your social media platforms using the hashtag #RingingInBelmontes We can't wait to see all your captured memories on our special day!

What is an all-inclusive resort?

Answer

Hotel RIU Jalisco All-Inclusive includes all meals at specialty restaurants, buffets and room service. It also includes all drinks at restaurants, bars and the disco (Don't forget your tumblers and straws). That includes top-shelf liquor! There will also be entertainment offered at no cost! Tips are not included.

When do I need to book by?

Answer

Please book ASAP, if you book now you just have to put a deposit. All payments are due by October 14, 2019. We have blocked rooms for our wedding guests but we will have to release some rooms in August and the remainder in October.

How are we getting to Chicago?

Answer

If you would like transportation to and from the airport in Chicago please let me know ASAP. If we have enough guests who would like transportation, we can get a coach bus pretty cheap (about $30 a person).
