We are very excited for the celebrations this weekend. Unfortunately a last minute problem occurred at the hotel and reception venue, The Drayton Hotel. We are so thankful we were able to reschedule this important event at late notice. Please see updated details below. If any issues please reach out to Sandra Dorst (brides sister) Kathrine McIlroy (grooms sister) The NEW venue for the reception is The Alida Hotel Harpers Terrace on the Rooftop Reception Starts at 5:15 p.m. This hotel unfortunately did not have rooms for guests so the hotel reservations are now at JW Marriott Savannah Plant Riverside District All prior room rates $229 + taxes and fees will be honored. This hotel is conveniently located across the street and an easy walk from the Alida Hotel. There is parking cheaper than JW located at 300-348 W Bryan St Parking. This is $20/ day and a 5 minute walk from the JW Marriott. You can park at JW for $53/ day. A Trolley service will be provided from the JW Marriott to the Church Wedding Service. Please meet in the lobby at 3pm and someone will escort guests from the lobby to the trolly. The trolly will also take guests after the Church Ceremony to the Alida for the reception. The Church Service starts promptly at 4:00 PM at The Lutheran Church of The Ascension There will still be a welcome party on Friday night at 8PM at The Boabab Lounge in the Lobby of the JW Marriott hotel. We sincerely appreciate your understanding of these changes! As you can imagine the last minute cancellation and move has been challenging to say the least but we are so grateful that the stars aligned for this celebration to still happen! We ask that you please enjoy the day as it was normally planned and keep the focus on the happy couple and their amazing relationship and future ahead!
