he dress code for the Wedding is ‘Formal Garden Party’. Bright colors and floral patterns are encouraged! Ties are recommended but not mandatory. Jackets are optional. A portion of the event will be outdoors, including gravel roads and well-kept forest paths, so avoid stiletto heels. The wedding will be scent free, as many attendees (including the brides!) have scent allergies and sensitivities.
Yourselves! There is no need to bring a gift, but we would love a card! There is a registry on our website with a few suggestions. Art, board games, or “experiences” are always welcome! Instead of physical gifts, contributions to the honeymoon or specific aspects of the wedding would also be greatly appreciated! There will be a designated table for dropping off. You can either bring cards/gifts to the reception, day-of to leave at a designated table, or pass them to the brides in advance.
Rain has never stopped celebrations at Sea Cider! Check the weather and bring a rain coat and umbrella. Sea Cider also has a "rain package" with market tents, blankets, heaters and umbrellas
Flowering season is very weather dependent, but there are apple blossoms generally mid April through early June, and apples on the trees June through to mid-October.
Yes! Our ceremony spaces, reception spaces, storage spaces and washrooms are all wheelchair accessible.
"At Sea Cider, we are mindful that our farm may have both positive and negative impacts on our neighbours. We believe that a Good Neighbour Policy starts with respect; respect for our neighbours is a key consideration in operations across all aspects of our business. Some highlights of our Good Neighbour Policy include: - Music must be moved indoors by 9pm - Windows and doors must be kept closed after - 9pm to contain any noise. - Last call may be as late as 9:30pm, guest departure as late as 10:00pm."
