When Tony and I matched on Bumble in November 2023, I was immediately drawn to his warm spirit and easygoing nature. Our conversations were effortless, and we quickly connected over our shared love for Christ, travel, and 80s music. Our first date was at Cooks & Soldiers in Midtown Atlanta. We talked for hours, losing track of time, and by the end of the night, I knew something special had started between us. As Tony walked me to my car (along with my beautiful bouquet of pink roses), I couldn’t help but feel that this was just the beginning of something amazing. As we spent more time together, I grew fond of Tony’s son, Logan, and saw how deeply he cared for him. Our bond grew stronger, and when our families & friends met, everything clicked. It felt like we’d known each other for years. One of the most meaningful moments came during a Christmas church service. As we prayed together, Tony held my hand, and I felt something special—it felt like home. Exactly one year from the day we matched, on Thanksgiving Day 2024, Tony surprised me with a proposal during a game of Taboo with our families. Overwhelmed with joy, I said yes, knowing that our love story was just beginning.

One of the things that has touched me most is the way she’s embraced my son, Logan, who has special needs. Her love and patience with him have only deepened my love for her. I had been searching for a true partner in crime—a passenger princess for road trips, a best friend I could trust to give me the real answer when I asked, “How does this look?” With Lisa, I found all that and so much more.
