The Wedding Website of Lisa Paolo and Tony Kullen
Stroll along the 7-mile beach and enjoy the spectacular view of Neahkahnie Mountain to the north. It was here that Oregon governor Oswald West was so inspired by the landscape that he declared that Oregon’s beaches should always remain free and open to all which they still are to this day. Back in town, Manzanita packs in the culinary excellence with a delightful bakery, fine dining, wine, beer and gourmet groceries. If you are feeling a bit more adventurous, go to Bahama Mama's to rent surfboards or bikes. Head north on highway 101 for an incredible scenic drive to nearby Hug Point, pictured above (be sure to check the tide table and go when it is low), or a bit further up the coast to Cannon Beach and see the famed Haystack rock. We know of a few nearby kid-friendly hiking trails, Oswald West State Park and Short Sand Beach to the north, or Nehalem Bay State to the south.
For all the days along the way
