The wedding will be held outside overlooking beautiful Mutiny Bay on Whidbey Island. We encourage semi-formal beach or garden party attire. Examples include (but certainly not limited to): maxi dress or sun dress with sandals; linen pants and short-sleeved button-down shirts. Or feel free to dress up with a fun cocktail dress and lightweight suit! We want you to be comfortable! Our colors are going to be bright summer colors (coral, pink, yellow, sage green) so feel free to wear complimentary colors if you would like, but it is certainly not required! We are just thrilled to have you celebrating with us! Also, since the wedding is outside, and we are hoping for lots of sunshine, make sure you bring your sunglasses!
The wedding is in Freeland, Washington, just 7 miles from Langley, Washington; and just 18 miles from Coupeville, WA. See the Langley visitors link below and please feel free to contact Lisa or Tim if you have any questions! We would love to help you find a place to stay. https://visitlangley.com/visitors/plan-your-visit
The wedding is being held at Lisa's brother's private residence, so parking is a bit limited, so to the extent possible, we do encourage carpooling. :) We will though have people on-site the day of the wedding to make sure everyone has a convenient spot. to park! Please reach out to Tim and Lisa in advance if you need any special parking accommodations!
Please see the travel section of our website. The ferry does add some challenges, so we have provided some tips for addressing any potential delays and ideas for fun things to do on the island if you have the opportunity to come over early!
Your presence in our life is your gift to us! We love you all and are so grateful to be celebrating this special time in our lives with you, whether you can be with us in person or will be loving us from afar.
The wedding is being held outside. We are very hopeful that it will be a nice, sunny, and warm August day in Washington However, we are on the bluff on the water, so even on a nice day there could be a breeze, so we would recommend bringing a sweater or jacket for later evening. If the weather surprises us, we have back up plans to keep everyone dry and as warm as possible, but would definitely recommend layers!
