FAQs

The Wedding Website of Lisa Kraynick and Taylor Miller
Question

What is the attire? Why can't women wear black dresses/gowns?

Answer

The attire is formal- for men, this means: Dark suits in grey or navy, dark dress slacks, groomed appearance, dark dress shoes and dark socks. Ladies: please avoid wearing black gowns since the Bridesmaids are wearing black. Some great alternatives include: Dark navy, grey, chocolate or bronze satin fabrics, dark jewel tones, deep hues of magenta. Since this is an evening event at a historic hotel, "Dress to Impress" and going a bit glam is encouraged for all guests.

Question

What should I do in Dallas?

Answer

Please see "Things To Do" section at the top. Tip: If you're going to see the Grassy Knoll, just know that area is a little sketchy.

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

We love your children, but due to space restrictions, we cannot accommodate guests under the age of 18 on our wedding day. Thank you for understanding, and we hope you can take the night off to enjoy with family and friends!

Question

Do I have to stay at the hotel provided?

Answer

No. Feel free to secure lodging that works best for you, but the recommendation is to stay near all the action (either in Oaklawn, Turtle Creek, Downtown, or Uptown. Try to stay west of I-75).
