Both of us have known deep love before, and we’ve also known heartbreaking loss. Stan's beloved wife, Julie passed away in January 2019, and my husband Michael passed in December 2017. In the quiet space that grief leaves behind, we both learned how fragile and precious life is — and how powerful it can be to open your heart again. We first met online, shared a few sweet dates, and felt a spark that we couldn’t quite put into words. Then the world changed — the pandemic arrived, and life hit pause, gently pulled us in different directions for a while. But fate wasn’t finished with our story; had other plans. Over a year and a half later, Stan reached out again… and just like that, we reconnected. What began as a simple message quickly became something much more, and this time, everything fell into place. There was comfort, laughter, and a sense of peace in each other’s presence — as though our hearts had been waiting for this moment all along. Four years have passed since we first met. In that time, we’ve built a relationship grounded in friendship, faith, resilience, and real love — the kind that knows what it means to cherish every moment. And now, here we are—engaged, in love, and so excited to start this next chapter together. We’re getting married! We’re saying "I do" not only to a future together, but to a love that honors where we've been and celebrates where we're going.
