The first time Nic and Larry met Joey was when they both visited Portland March of 2020. We had an amazing time hanging out at the bars downtown! None of us knew it would be the last time any of us would be hanging out at a bar for a long time, since COVID quarantines started the very next day.

One time in band camp, we went hiking. This happened many times and we convinced Joey there was a wine bar around every corner. She has always indulged us knowing there is no prophetic wine bar around the corner, but she listens to us anyways. For that we are grateful.

I know how we all met. But do not blame me how you two met. I am not responsible! I’m so happy for both of you.

The highlight of our trip to Croatia was certainly not being redirected back to Rome because the plane could not land. The highlight was meeting Lisa and Joey at the hotel where they put us up! We became instant besties, sharing meals and happy hour, and attempting to crash a private event :) Meeting up with them in three cities during that trip, and the fun antics that ensued, cemented a lifelong friendship. Our world is so much richer with these two amazing women in it.

We will never forget meeting on a boat tour in Polignano a Mare where it was just the four of us. We drank two bottles of prosecco and then proceeded to drink all over town till the two of you caught a train back to Bari.

I met Siti when she first arrived in Phoenix to help her settle in. I remember shopping with her, thinking that she would need utensils, TP, and all the practical stuff for her apartment. Meanwhile, Siti was in the stereo aisle because music was her life. LOL! When Jeff and I got to meet Lisa, it became clear that Siti has met the true music of her life. It is an honor to celebrate this very special occasion with Siti and Lisa.

when I very first met Joey I had already known Lisa for several years. And I swear to God if I had written a description of who would be the absolute perfect woman for my friend, Joey would be it. Except that my brain couldn’t have even come up with someone as perfect for Lisa as she is. Whether it be hanging out at their home and talking about our favorite books, or laughing about whether or not she has enough tea to be sure she won’t accidentally run out, Joey has quickly become another true Amiguita! Ask me about our Dim Sum experience!

After the wedding at the courthouse, and a wonderful sushi dinner…Z and Joey and me were back at their house where they toasted with Champagne flutes and shared the first bite of a wedding cupcake as a married couple. In the middle of this beautiful moment - Z stops and yells oh shit I forgot to feed the dog!! Joey and I look at each other and start cracking up laughing!!!

I met Lisa in Las Vegas and Lisa was such a great tour guide. She took us everywhere and was so excited to host us. It was the best Vegas trip ever. I met Siti in Phoenix. I was invited to a women’s dance party by a mutual friend Lou. We were pretty much instant friends after that. We’ve seen each other through tough times and happy times. She is a true friend for life.
