History of Our Venue

For those who enjoy a bit of history,
we’re excited to share the story behind this special place.
The Heritage Museum is a living snapshot of the past. As you walk from the parking area into the venue, you will pass the prominent Hiram Clay Kellogg House, a grand Queen Anne–style Victorian home built in 1898.
With stained-glass windows and a wraparound porch, the Kellogg House reflects the craftsmanship of the era. Inside, the home features original woodwork, decorative fireplaces, period furnishings and one unforgettable detail: a full-size ship’s mast rising through the center of the house, with the staircase wrapping around it — a nod to Hiram Kellogg’s fascination with tall sailing ships.
We’ve always been drawn to places with history and a sense of magic, so celebrating our wedding here feels like a perfect reflection of us.
As a special wedding-day detail, the bride will be getting ready inside the Kellogg House, which will also be the setting for our first look.
