We've each spent more than a decade in Chicago, living on opposite ends of The Magnificent Mile and working in healthcare, yet our paths never crossed—until one swipe right on Hinge brought us together for a cocktail and sharing music in August 2023. Since then, we’ve shared two incredible years filled with live music, street festivals, comedy shows, Chicago sports, dive bars, afternoon tea, theatre, art galleries, Sunday night cooking sessions, bonding with our stubentiger (Cillian), travels to Kansas City—where Lisa was born and a city Nihir once called home—northern Michigan, London for our first anniversary, Colombian weddings, Brooklyn for New Year's Eve 2025, driving the Pacific Coast Highway, and Napa Valley—where Nihir proposed in March 2025—and blending our Irish-American and Indian cultures. With a spark of good humor, kindness, and patience, we're both very grateful to finally find true love! We’re loving our new home in Bucktown and thrilled to be starting our next decade with a marriage and celebrate with our friends and family!
