The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Ladies should wear cocktail dresses, and gentlemen should wear a suit and tie.
Both the ceremony and the reception will be at Bellport Country Club.
The ceremony will be outdoors, weather permitting. The reception will be indoors
There will be a cocktail hour leading to the main reception dinner and dancing.
There will be an afterparty limited to 100 guests, which will likely last two hours and be karaoke-related. Please advise if you are interested in the RSVP. We are currently investigating how to set up a 5k Run prior to the wedding date. More information will be posted on that event once known. Bridal Shower, Rehearsal Dinner and Monday Brunch are invite-only events.
We recommend that you arrive a half-hour before the start of the ceremony.
Parking is free at Bellport Country Club. The lot is large enough to accommodate all guests.
While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an age 13+ event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate your understanding.
Based on the venue's capacity, we have a strict guest list that is RSVP only. We will only able to accommodate those listed on the invitation and RSVP.
The RSVP deadline is by August 13, 2021. Please mail back the RSVP enclosed with your invitation. We are not having an online RSVP system in place. We cannot guarantee a seat for you if you RSVP after this date. Please contact us if there is an issue with sending us back the RSVP.
We understand that guests may have different dietary restrictions and are working with Bellport Country Club to make sure we have a diverse menu for both cocktail hour and dinner. This will include vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options. To best accommodate your dietary restrictions, please advise us of them via the RSVP as indicated.
Due to COVID restrictions and setbacks, we cannot guarantee transportation will be provided from either hotel block at this time. UPDATE: We are currently working on securing a shuttle bus from 8:30 to 11:30 to go from Bellport to the Holiday Inn.
At this time, our venue is following all the current CDC guidelines. Masks are currently not required for vaccinated individuals, while still required indoors if you are unvaccinated. This may change due to the ever-changing COVID landscape and Delta variant. If you wish to wear a mask even if vaccinated, you are free to do so.
Our seating plan is indoor seating for the reception, and the reception will be indoors. We will be meeting with our venue this month to confirm that guests may take their meals outside if they so wish. There is a covered outdoor patio where the cocktail hour will partially be held. We will update this once we know more information.
Again, both the venue and us are following the CDC guidelines and state requirements related to COVID. Presently, guests are not required to be vaccinated to attend, but we do ask unvaccinated guests to wear masks when not seated indoors. At this time, no negative COVID tests are required but we do recommend that unvaccinated guests get tested 72 hours prior to attending. This all might change leading up to the wedding due to the Delta variant outbreak. We will update you should things change.
If you are no longer able to attend our wedding, please email lisa.bonanni4@gmail.com as soon as possible. We are required to provide a final headcount early in September. Additionally, if you fail to respond to our invitation/mail back an RSVP, we are assuming that you are not coming, will not include you in our seating chart/headcount, and will likely not be able to seat you should you arrive unannounced.
Please email us at lisa.bonanni4@gmail.com with any further questions. Also, please note that we plan on updating this FAQ with further answers and information as time goes on.
