Flight
SFO airport is about 20 minutes south of the city. It is easy to hop on the BART train or grab a Lyft, Uber, or taxi. We don't advise renting a car. Don't forget to look at flights in to Oakland (OAK) - some airlines it could be cheaper. Take the BART to the Embarcadero station, then a car ride to the hotel.
Hotel
The Petite Auberge and the White Swan are wonderful, sister boutique hotels located next to each other in Lower Nob Hill, a beautiful neighborhood in the heart of San Francisco filled with gorgeous early 20th Century buildings. There are many restaurants and shops nearby, and it's a short walk to Union Square and Market Street. Please come early and stay afterwards if you can! Each hotel has it's own unique style. We love them both equally, so look through their websites and pick your favorite -- it's a tough choice! There are different rooms listed, but we have the pick of them all. Cristy Flores is a manager at both hotels -- she can answer questions and give recommendations, and she has assured our guests will receive the nicest available. Your stay includes breakfast each day plus other beverages and snacks. We have both hotels reserved at $229 the nights of July 14-18. Your reservation can be cancelled 48 hours in advance and there is no charge placed ahead of your stay, so please book as soon as possible.

Travel Note
SF is for walking -- uphill, both ways. Actually it's really not that bad. SF is very easy to get around, with abundant Lyft and Uber cars and pretty good public transportation -- of course don't forget the wonderful cable cars. Clipper Cards get you to BART, and Muni train / bus tickets. Are you thinking about renting a car? Don't. - Neither of our preferred hotels has a parking garage - But there are some garages within a few blocks, if you must - Street parking is limited, costly, and often has time constraints
