Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) is connected to Center City Philly by SEPTA Regional Rail or a 20 minute cab or Lyft ride. If you find a super sweet deal to fly into Newark instead, it'll take you a little over an hour and an NJ Transit or Amtrak ticket to get to Philly.

We live in West Philly and our wedding shindig will take place in Bella Vista. Other fun and convenient neighborhoods to consider for your stay: Old City, Washington Square West, Queen Village, Fitler Square, East Passyunk, Graduate Hospital, Rittenhouse Square, Fairmount, Fishtown, Northern Liberties (and the list goes on and on!)

When you arrive in Philly, grab a SEPTA Key(card) from one of the kiosks in Center City (e.g. Dilworth Plaza station), pop some money on there and ride to your heart's content. The SEPTA Key works on our subway lines, trolley cars, and each and every bus.

Two quirks that may be helpful to know about Philly: we still like cash (more than a few restaurants and bars are cash-only) and we're all about the BYOB.
