FAQs

Question

How can I RSVP?

Answer

Please RSVP no later than Friday, July 17. To RSVP online, select the "RSVP" tab on this website and type in your first and last name. Feel free to reach out to Lisa or Emmanuel for any questions on how to do this, or to let us know your attendance.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The general dress code is semi-formal, but come as you are most comfortable! Keep in mind the ceremony will be in the woods and there will be a short walk on a dirt path from the parking lot to the seating area. The reception will be indoors and the venue is fully ADA accessible. Additionally, summer afternoons and evenings in Oakland are usually warm and sunny.

Question

Do you have a registry?

Answer

You can find our registry at the top of this website. However, please do not feel obligated to get us a gift from there or any gift at all! Your presence, joy, and support is the most valuable gift we could receive on this day.

Question

At what time should I arrive?

Answer

If you plan to attend the ceremony, please plan to arrive by 3:30 p.m. The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00 p.m. If you plan to attend the reception, you may arrive at the venue any time after 6:00 p.m. The first hour will be for cocktails and mingling, and dinner will be served at 7:00 p.m.

Question

What is the best way to get to and from the venues?

Answer

Wedding Ceremony: The Bay Vista Picnic Area at Roberts Regional Recreation Area is accessible by car, AC Transit bus #31, or Uber/Lyft. There is a $5.50 parking fee for cars. Important note: Getting from the ceremony to the reception by bus or rideshare may be time-consuming. If you will not have your own vehicle, please let Andy Lieberman know at 415-912-9512 or andylieberman@gmail.com, and he will help you find a ride with another guest. Wedding Reception: The drive from the ceremony to the Terrace Room is about 20 minutes, plus time for parking. Guests may look for street parking along Lakeside Drive, or use nearby paid garages on Franklin or Webster streets. Please do not leave any belongings visible in your car.
