We are planning to take a Catamaran Cruise around the coast to spend additional quality time with all of our guests. First we’ll take a bus from our resort to the boat location, then we'll hop aboard a private catamaran and cruise around the shore. In addition to lunch and drinks, about an hour of snorkel and swimming time is included. There will be an additional fee of $55 per adult and $30 per kid for this excursion and it's completely optional. If you get sea sick or are just not a fan of boat rides, please don’t feel obligated to join us, we totally understand! Please indicate your interest by choosing yes or no when submitting your RSVP.
It's up to each individual guest whether or not you'd like to take an excursion. Tripadvisor is a great tool to read recent reviews so you know what you're signing up for. Please don't feel the need to check with us, it'll be way too difficult for us to keep track of everyone. Just pick whatever sounds fun to you and go for it! We want you to treat this like your own summer vacation and we hope that everyone enjoys a little slice of paradise, whether that means sitting pool-side at the resort all week or leaving the resort for an adventure packed day, we just want you to have an amazing time!
At the resort reception area, there are numerous businesses/tour operators with a ton of brochures, so it is fairly easy to pick what you like. Through the destination wedding planning process, several vendors have recommended Renny Travel saying, "He is the most trustworthy, reliable and all-around WONDERFUL tour guide." Check out his website for additional information.
We’ve heard really great things about Xtreme Dune Buggy Tours from many people. There are other companies that offer these tours, among which are some pretty lame ones (the Cap Cana one and the Hard Rock one, for example), but this one seems to be the winner when it comes to Dune Buggies.
Bavaro Ocean Adventures is a great company near the Cortecito pier and is very reputable; they offer 5 tours which are an Ocean Spa, a Sailing Adventure (booze cruise), Bavaro Splash, Stingray Bay, and a ‘Pirate Ship’ (also booze cruise).
In a Punta Cana gated community right by the airport. This is a bit off the beaten path because it's not offered as a tour from any hotels. Get a taxi to drop you off and pick you back up there (or they can wait for up to 3 hours at no charge). It’s $30 per person to enter and is a guided walk to 7 gorgeous freshwater lagoons, 3 of which are swimmable.
