After much discussion with our wedding planner and state officials, we decided the guidelines for a June wedding were too strict for the kind of celebration we wanted to have. Plus this is safer for everyone!
Legacy Acres is a hidden gem. So you might feel out of place on some of those back windy roads, but don’t worry, all the sudden you’ll see the venue come through the trees!
Please head directly to the Ballroom so that we can get this party started!
Hunter and I will be getting married (just the two of us alone) on June 13th. On August 30th, we will have a small ceremony with our families before all other guests arrive. This was the decision we felt best for our situation.
If you feel like you might have drank a little too much and need to catch an Uber, the lovely people at Legacy Acres will open the gate for you on Sunday to get your car (please coordinate times with them) PLEASE do not drink and drive! We will even have a car for a few hours that will take people home.
We kindly ask that no one under under the age of 13 attend our wedding. Hire a sitter and put on your dancing shoes for an adults night out!
We will be having an unplugged ceremony. Please keep your phones on silent and away during our big moment! It’s fair game once it’s time for the reception!
We will have a pasta bar! With salads and garlic bread. Drinks include tea, water, and lemonade. Desserts are wedding cupcakes, cookie cake, and a candy bar! Plus if you stick around long enough, you might get a chicken biscuit as our “late night snack”
Of course! We will have beer, wine, Grey Goose, and Jack Daniels with all the mixers your heart desires. Wines: Pinot Noir & Chardonnay Beer: Bud Lite, Miller Lite, & Yuengling
