UPDATE: Our room blocks are no longer available. Please check the hotel website directly for availability. We advise you to confirm train/bus schedules prior to departure due to the ever-changing COVID environment. No car? Planning to stay overnight? Traveling to Bear Mountain from NYC isn't as difficult as you think! Please see our FAQ for driving/taxi information.

Train

Metro North - Hudson Line

Take the Hudson Line from Grand Central Terminal to the Peekskill station. From there, a 15 minute Uber/Lyft/Taxi ride will bring you right to Bear Mountain!

Travel Note

Cab Information

Speak to Luis, 914-382-2782. The rate was from the Peekskill train station to the Merry Go Round at Bear Mountain is $25.00 one way, which includes the toll. This is the same rate for 1 person (or up to4 people) so if you can coordinate the pick up times with more than one person, that would be most cost effective. Also, please schedule a time in advance for pick up at the train station and later in the evening if you need.

Travel Note

Our traditional Stone Cottages are perfect for anyone looking for an authentic, rustic mountain cabin experience without the expense of renting an entire cabin. Each of our stone cottages is complete with a cozy front porch and a common living area with wood-burning fireplace, microwave, mini-refrigerator and dry bar. The common area connects six individual private guest rooms – with a queen-size bed, private bath, and 32″ television. We have 12 rooms (2 cottages) allotted to our room block, so the common area will only be shared with other wedding guests. The stone cottages are about a 15 minute walk around the lake through the park (3 min drive) from the Merry Go Round.
