Patience worked at Purdue University as an ER/ICU veterinary nurse since 2015, and Linette was a DVM student from 2017-2021. In 2020 Linette and Patience met during Linette’s fourth year of veterinary school where NOTHING happened (Patience wants this to be very clear). Their interaction was limited to one instance where Patience teased Linette about not remembering the name of a holiday decoration. According to Patience, Linette was RUNNING from her for the rest of her fourth year and would avoid her at all costs. Add one big comforting hug in ICU and Linette admiring Patience during CPR on a bulldog later…. Linette had a little “admiration", but Patience certainly did not (she doesn't date students, of course). Linette proceeded to graduate and moved to Indianapolis for her first big-girl job, but not without falling for Patience’s thirst traps on Instagram of her mowing her lawn during a hot spring day, having a cider, and listening to 80's rock. In May 2022, Patience replied to Linette’s Instagram story about attending Indy Pride that following month. Linette gave Patience her phone number, giving the excuse that she does not check her Instagram messages often. Patience thought it made perfect sense because she lives life as a clueless homeschooler. Linette, however, was telling people that she may make a move... she definitely had a little crush. During Indy Pride, Linette proceeded to make several moves over THREE hours until Patience caught on that Linette was flirting. Linette did have to kiss Patience’s cheek before Patience realized it wasn’t just a friendly catch-up, and after three hours of splendid conversation, Patience caught some feelings too. Patience FINALLY asked her “Linette would you like me to kiss you now?” They kissed. And haven’t stopped kissing since.
