Historic Main Street, Saint Charles
Main Street in Saint Charles is one of our favorite spots! The old brick streets and historic buildings date back to 1800 and are so charming. There are plenty of boutiques, shops, bars, and restaurants on Main Street with plenty of things to do.
Missouri Wine Country
There are many winery options in Defiance (right near our wedding venue) and in Augusta, Mo! They have beautiful views and atmospheres and are open every day of the week. Often with live music, visiting the wineries allows you to relax and take a beautiful drive to enjoy a nice glass of wine or appetizer. The view from the deck of Montelle Winery is my favorite, but you can't go wrong with any of them!
Katy Trail
If biking or running is your thing, this trail runs across the entire state of Missouri and backs right up to Good News Brewing and many of the wineries. No need to skip your workout while you're out of town!
Tony's On Main Street
Our favorite restaurant, the site of our first "official" date, and the best Old Fashioned you will find! If you're looking for a nice dinner while you’re in town and a place to enjoy on the charming St. Charles Main Street, this is your place! Make sure to make a reservation as seats are hard to come by when you walk in!

Shack Breakfast & Lunch
If you're looking for a place for breakfast or brunch, the Shack is your place! The atmosphere is fun, and the food is amazing! Bonus that it's just down the road from our hotels and you can join their waitlist online before you head over.
The Brass Rail
If you need a dinner spot a stones throw from the hotel, the Brass Rail is the one! We love their food and atmosphere and if you need a recommendation, definitely get the Monterey Chicken Tenders. They are an Emily favorite and not typical chicken tenders, you won't be disappointed!
