Although the pandemic has caused much uncertainty, we plan to move forward with our wedding. Many things were taken into consideration throughout the planning process for this celebration, with hope that COVID-19 would no longer be a part of our everyday lives, but knowing it was a possibility. We chose our venue because it offers a spacious outdoor setting where the ceremony and reception will take place. We are anticipating around 100 guests, but seating and tables will be spaced out to the extent possible to allow for varying comfort levels with social distancing. Guests should bring their own masks and are encouraged to wear them, although not required by the venue. Food and drinks will be served according to current health and safety recommendations. There will also be hand sanitizing stations. We want all of our guests to feel comfortable and safe in joining us! But please know that you were invited because we value you in our lives, regardless of whether you are able to attend.
The Space at Feather Oaks is a restored barn, so it has some rustic flare with 14 acres of surrounding property. As long as the weather cooperates, the ceremony and reception will both take place outdoors. Since North Florida temperatures can be unpredictable in February, please keep an eye on the weather forecast and dress accordingly!
Semi-formal or dressy casual. The wedding events will take place outdoors and although there will be some heated spaces, we recommend planning for cooler temperatures and bringing layers. Guests will be on grass at times, so ladies will want to consider this when picking shoes for the night.
Adults only. We love your children! But ask that you please leave them at home and make it a date night.
