If you're still in town on Sunday around 1:00pm, we plan to be at our favorite brunch spot – Tweet! They have a huge brunch menu, including an extensive gluten free menu! Tweet does not take reservations, but part of the fun is putting your name in for a table, then heading to the attached bar for a cocktail while you wait. The atmosphere is a bit raucous, and the dress code is casual. We plan to be there, and we'd love to see you! Due to the number of people, and lack of reservations, just put your name in for yourself and your family when you arrive, then come find us in the bar - we'll all just eat as our tables are ready. Please note: the restaurant is cash only, but there is an ATM. This restaurant is on the north side – 5020 N. Sheridan Rd. You’ll want to take a cab or Uber – it is approximately a 20 minute Uber or cab ride from the Loop/River North area. To see the menu, check out their website: http://tweet.biz/ We hope to see you there!
If you’re planning to stay in Chicago after the wedding, we would love for you to join us on Wendella’s Original Architecture Tour on Sunday, September 23, at 5:00pm. This boat cruise on all three branches of the Chicago River is a beautiful way to see the city, sip some cocktails (yes, there is a bar!), and learn about Chicago’s history and architecture. It is one of the only “touristy” activities in which locals agree they will happily partake. You can buy tickets for the tour and get more information by clicking "View" below. We hope to see you there!
If you’re still around the city, join us at Wrigley Field as the Cubs take on the Pirates Monday, September 24, at 7:05pm. Snag some bleachers tickets by clicking on the link below or on StubHub. We’ll post more information on when and where to meet up before the game!

If you’re feeling outdoorsy, check out part of the 18 miles of lakefront path. You can chill on a beach, take a stroll, go for a run, or rent some bikes and take a ride! The views of the lake and the skyline will not disappoint.
Oh man, do we have museums! Go check out Sue the T-Rex at the Field Museum, channel your inner Ferris at the Art Institute (don’t forget to take a selfie with the lions!), climb inside a U-Boat at the western hemisphere’s largest science museum – the Museum of Science & Industry, feed sharks at the Shedd Aquarium, or see the stars at the Adler Planetarium. Chicago is also home to museums that document and celebrate African-American heritage, Jewish tradition, Mexican art, Lithuanian culture, Ukrainian history, Puerto Rican culture, military history, maritime history, and even an American Writer's Museum — the very first of its kind. For art lovers, the city's gallery districts, from River North to Pilsen, give insight into both art history and the contemporary creative scene.
