FAQ

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire - short dresses for women and a suit or shirt and tie for men.

Question

How should we get to the venue?

Answer

Any way you'd like, but don't drive! Parking is notoriously tough in Chicago, and we hope most of you will indulge enough that driving at the end of the night wouldn't be the best idea. If you are staying in the Loop, Magnificent Mile, or River North neighborhoods. Take a 5-10 minute taxi, Uber, or Lyft ride to the venue. Pro Tip: Ask them to drop you at the southwest corner of S. Wacker & Madison instead of the address - you'll be closer to the entrance!

Question

What's for dinner?

Answer

There will be a variety of passed hors d'oeuvres during cocktail hour, followed by a seated dinner. Dinner starts with a Spinach and Strawberry Orange Salad with Candied Walnuts and Sesame Dressing, followed by an Intermezzo course of Grilled Mahi Mahi with Mango Salsa. The entree choices are (1) Freebird Chicken Saltimbocca with Prosciutto, Sage, Fontina, Mediterranean Vegetables, and Salsa Rosa; (2) Petite Beef Tenderloin, Served with Carrots and Green Beans, Rivers Mashed Potatoes, and Mushroom Veal Sauce; and (3) Vegetable Paella, with Bomba Rice, Saffron Broth, and Fresh Vegetables. Dessert will be a variety of cake and mini cheesecakes. After we've danced off dinner, there will be a TACO BAR late in the evening! **All hors d'ouevres and entrees are gluten free. (Yes, even the teriyaki, crostini, and croutons! All desserts will also be gluten free, and corn tortillas will be offered on the taco bar!**
