The City of Chicago announced the return of an indoor mask mandate on August 20th. Masks will be required when not actively eating or drinking during the indoor portions of our events. Feel free to bring your own mask, but we will also provide some at the event.
Your health and safety are our top priority. Nearly all of our guests are vaccinated. If you are unable to be vaccinated, please take a COVID test within 72 hours of the wedding. If your test is positive or if you have any symptoms we please ask that you stay at home.
We'll be getting married on September 4, 2021, at the Newberry Library in Chicago. While we are eagerly greeting all vaccination news and signs of normalcy, we remain uncertain what our actual wedding day will look like on Sept. 4th. We -- like all of you -- are remaining optimistic that life will have returned to some level of normalcy and we can host all of you for a much-needed night of celebrating. However, we cannot predict what/if any local rules will remain in place related to large gatherings. As a result, we ask that all of you please pencil in September 4th and stay up-to-date here at our wedding website. We will also follow-up as we have more information. If you know for certain you will be unable to attend, please feel free to let us know at your earliest convenience. Stay healthy, stay safe. We hope to see you in the fall!
Cocktail attire, and please note that the ceremony will be held outdoors at Washington Park.
No. Both hotels are 3 blocks away walking and a very very short cab if you prefer.
