A) Flights Direct flights daily to Nantucket (ACK) from Boston, NYC, Westchester, Philly and Washington DC. Flights are available now and fill-up quickly. B) Passenger Ferry Hy-Line Cruises and Steamship Authority both run hourly from Hyannis with plenty of capacity. C) Car Ferry Steamship Authority runs a car ferry from Hyannis. Bookings open in January and sell out quickly.

Hotel bookings for September 2026 should be available starting in early to mid October. A few we love are the Veranda House, the Jared Coffin House, and 21 Broad Hotel.

Rental Car

Turo

Guests staying in Nantucket Town have amenities within walking distance. For transportation there is a free bus called The Wave which loops the island stopping at all beaches. Additionally, Ubers and taxis are plentiful. For larger groups interested in a car rental we recommend using Turo which is a peer-to-peer car sharing application (AirBnb for cars). Pick-up is available at the airport.
