Where should I stay?

Answer

If you are looking to stay in a hotel, there are SO many great options to choose from! A few favorites are The Nantucket Resort Collection, The Faraway Nantucket, and The Greydon House. You can't go wrong. If you are booking with a group, there are lots of Airbnbs across the Island as well.

When should I book my accommodations?

Answer

Nantucket is an extremely popular wedding destination in September. We strongly encourage you to book your accommodations as soon as possible. Hotel and airfare bookings for September 2026 should be available starting in mid October. You do not need to reserve passenger ferries until much closer to the date, however, we do encourage reserving your tickets ahead of time.

What if my ferry gets cancelled due to inclement weather?

Answer

Have no fear! The various ferry companies offer many trips every day that you can be waitlisted for if it is sold out. The "slow" Steamship car ferry always has capacity for walk on passengers. The boat ride is 1 hour longer than the fast ferry. If we are expecting an extreme weather event - plan ahead!

How do I get to Sconset from town?

Answer

There is a free bus called "The Wave" that offers a few different routes that end up in the center of Sconset village. The Summer House is a 4 minute walk and the Union Chapel is a 3 minute walk from the bus stop! There are also ample Ubers and taxis.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We hired a wonderful professional photographer and are happy to share photos with you, so we kindly request an unplugged ceremony. We ask that you please keep your devices silenced/turned off during this time.
