In Scottish tradition, a "second night" is when friends and family get together again (typically the night after the wedding) to celebrate the marriage of the couple and the coming together of the families.
This seemed like the perfect term to use for a post-elopement celebration. Even though it is a year later and not a night, we still wanted to have a celebration with all the important people that have loved and supported us over the years (thats you!).
Our "Second Night" celebration is exactly that...
A Celebration.
A Party!
A coming together of our families and friends.
Our "Second Night" will be more like a reception.
It is not a wedding - There will be no officiant, no vows, no speeches.
There is no fancy dress code, but if you'd like to dress up, you are sure welcome to!
Our celebration will be filled with yard games, food & drinks, and a warming of our rings.

Casual Attire: Dress for the weather! September in Estes Park could bring anything from beautiful 70 degree days to snow! If it does snow, we do hope you will bring proper gear to play in it with us. Snow will not scare us out of celebrating with you!
- We will have an explanation of the Ring Warming tradition at NOON around the bonfire. - Dogs are welcome as long as they are well behaved, good around children, and must be kept on a leash (as per the rules of the park). - We will not be providing any alcoholic beverages. If you wish to bring your own, please feel free to, but make sure it is in either a plastic or aluminum container and that it stays at the pavilion (as per park regulations).
