Question

CAMP PACKING LIST?

Answer

In addition, cabins do not include refrigerators, so be sure to bring coolers to store personal snacks and/or beverages!! We will be providing alcoholic beverages during the rehearsal dinner and wedding reception (Friday and Saturday night), but please BYOB for the remainder of the weekend :)

Question

WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE AT CAMP?

Answer

All guests are invited to arrive as early as 1 PM on Friday. Each guest is invited to stay overnight Friday & Saturday at the camp and to attend the rehearsal/welcome dinner Friday night.

Question

WHAT MEALS WILL I BE PROVIDED AT CAMP?

Answer

If you are staying overnight in the Tioga Cabins, all of your meals are provided in that booking cost! However, you are free to bring whatever extra food and drinks you'd like; just be sure to bring a cooler to store it, as the cabins do not have refrigerators. The meals included for the weekend is as follows: • Friday Night (Rehearsal/Welcome BBQ by the lake) • Saturday Morning (Mess Hall) • Saturday Lunch (Mess Hall) • Saturday Night (Wedding Reception Dinner) • Sunday Brunch (Mess Hall) **Please do not shy away from telling us if you have dietary restrictions. Just reach out to us directly and we will make note of it!**

Question

WHAT SHOULD I DO WITH MYSELF ALL DAY FRIDAY AND BEFORE THE WEDDING CEREMONY ON SATURDAY?

Answer

Here is what's in store: lake access with kayaks & paddle boards (bring your floaties people!), water slides, two heated swimming pools with lounge chairs, fishing (BYO poles and gear), basketball, tennis, softball/kickball, soccer and volleyball courts, archery, a skate park, bungee trampolines, arts and crafts center, and more!

Question

WHAT FACILITIES DO THE CABINS HAVE?

Answer

Each cabin has between 8-15 twin beds with foam mattresses. All accommodations include pillows, sheets, and shower towels. Each cabin has at least three toilets, two showers, and two sinks. The cabins have electricity/outlets and ample cubby space. If you were hoping for a double bed so that you could snuggle two to a bed, beds can be pushed together and moved around, no problem. The cabins do have air conditioning! However, AC may not be necessary at this time of year, temperatures might get low. Feel free to open those windows, embrace the mountain air, and definitely pack a sweatshirt!

Question

WHAT WILL CABIN CAMPERS BE PROVIDED WITH DURING THEIR STAY?

Answer

Upon arrival you will receive a welcome bag to include your cabin arrangements, a weekend itinerary, map of the grounds, etc. Your cabin comes complete with pillows, sheets, and a shower towel. Bathrooms are also fully stocked with toilet paper, hand soap, and paper towels. Look below for more specific packing guidelines.

Question

WHERE WILL THE CEREMONY & RECEPTION TAKE PLACE?

Answer

The entire wedding is taking place on the grounds of Camp Tioga. The ceremony will take place in an open pasture overlooking the mountains towards the bottom of the camp. Cocktail hour will be a short walk away in the Canteen (also outdoors/open air structure). Finally, the reception will take place under an open-air Pavilion near the entrance of the camp.

Question

HOW DO I BOOK A CABIN?

Answer

First, click the "BOOK YOUR STAY" tab. Once there, you will see "Camp Tioga Cabins" is the first option for you to book. Click "View" which will bring you to the "Pocono Camp Weddings" website for our wedding weekend. Choose your stay option with the number of nights and the amount of guests you are booking for and voila!

Question

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST PER NIGHT TO STAY IN A CABIN?

Answer

The cabins are $60/night per person. This price also covers all of your meals and access to activities for the weekend. This option is more bang for your buck than the average hotel, especially considering you don't have to worry about transportation to and from the wedding, but we understand if you'd prefer the hotel! Refer to the "BOOK YOUR STAY" tab which will direct you to Camp Tioga's cabin rental website! Our hotel block information is on that tab as well.

Question

WILL I GET MY OWN CABIN?

Answer

We will try to accommodate by keeping as few people to each cabin as possible. If you do end up sharing, you will not be rooming with people you don’t know; families will be grouped together and same goes for very close friends. It will be a collaborative process with our main priority being everyone's comfort, so we appreciate your patience as we make assignments! If you do have reservations about sharing a cabin and are uncomfortable, give us a call. We'll try to accommodate your cabin assignment wishes. At the very least, we can assist you in canceling your cabin reservation if necessary and booking a hotel room nearby.

Question

WHAT IF STAYING OVERNIGHT IN AN ON-SITE CABIN IS NOT IDEAL FOR ME?

Answer

We understand if the idea of staying overnight in a cabin bunk may not be your thing! In that case we have reserved a room block at a local hotel. You can find the link to that hotel booking site under the “book your stay” tab as well.

Question

WILL YOU BE PROVIDING TRANSPORTATION BETWEEN THE CAMP AND THE OFF-SITE HOTEL?

Answer

At this point in time, no, we are not providing transportation to and from the hotel. Once we start to understand the quantity of people staying, we will reassess, but the goal is to accommodate most people at the camp.

Question

WHAT IF I CAN ONLY MAKE IT FOR THE CEREMONY AND RECEPTION?

Answer

We are still excited you can make it for the main event! Simply RSVP as such under the "RSVP" tab, and you are done. You do not need to go the extra step of booking cabin accommodations in the "book your stay" tab.
