When should we RSVP by?
Answer
The RSVP deadline for our wedding is July 19, 2024. We kindly ask all guests to RSVP by this date to ensure we have an accurate count for seating arrangements, catering, and other logistics. Please RSVP through our website!

How to get to Hood River?
Answer
Hood River is about an hour ~very scenic~ drive from the Portland International Airport. For those guest flying in there are a few options to get to and from the PDX airport and Hood River: The Columbia Gorge Express Shuttle There is a shuttle that goes to and from PDX and Hood River, and is currently picking up/dropping off 9 times a day. This shuttle has two scenic stops along the Gorge, including Multnomah Falls (no Falls reservation needed if going through the shuttle!) If interested in this route, you can purchase passes and find out more information here: https://www.ridecatbus.org/columbia-gorge-express/ Hood River Taxi: You can reserve ahead of time a taxi to take you directly to and from the airport. More information here: https://hoodriverpedicab.com Lyft/Uber: Rides are available one way from Portland to Hood River Rent a car: Another option to ensure smooth transportation between venues and convenience. This will allow you to travel at your own pace and enjoy the celebration without worrying about logistics. Additionally, it provides flexibility for exploring the surrounding area, which we highly recommend! Our venue has ample parking.

How to get around the city without a car?

Lyft and Uber are technically not allowed in Hood River (Although you can use those apps to get there from the airport!) Where should we stay?
Answer
Our wedding is being held at the Westcliff Lodge - we recommend stay here first if rooms are still available (please reach out with any questions on this, and check our travel and schedule page for more information on booking here!) There are a lot of other hotels and inns in Hood River. This is a summer travel destination spot! We recommend booking ASAP to get the room and price you are after before things fill up. Will children be allowed at the wedding?

While we love your little ones, we're aiming for an adults-only vibe for our celebration. We appreciate your understanding on this. If you need help with childcare arrangements or have any questions, just give us a shout. We can provide local recommendations for childcare.

What will the weather be like?
Answer
What a fun question for the PNW! Hood River in August averages around mid 80's and the Gorge offers a lot of shade and a nice breeze. Our wedding will be entirely outdoors, and although rain is unlikely we will be prepared with tents and coverage should that be the case. We will update here as well the closer we get to the big day UPDATE As of 8/2: Weather has been on the hotter side - high 80s low 90s. There is usually always a cool breeze in the Gorge and the hottest part of the day in the late afternoon

You do you! Be yourself, beautifully. Wear what makes you feel confident, comfortable, and ready to celebrate. Love a direction?? Our color scheme for the wedding is jewel tones <3 The wedding venue is outdoors on sometimes uneven grass, so consider that when choosing heels/etc.
