Hotel/Room Blocks

Our wedding venue is about 50 minutes from Tampa International Airport. St. Pete/Clearwater International Airport (which is a smaller airport) is about 45 minutes away. Sarasota/Brandenton International Airport is a 30 minute drive from the venue. To be in a more central location, Michael and I will be staying in downtown Bradenton for the weekend of our wedding in an AirBnb. We recommend that our guests also stay near downtown Bradenton Riverwalk. This is a cute downtown area with lots of shops/restaurants/bars walking distance from the Riverwalk. Downtown Bradenton, FL is approximately 20 minutes from the wedding venue and also 25 minutes driving from Anna Maria Island Beaches. We looked into hotel room blocks & then decided against it because we have found that renting an AirBnb may be a better option financially as hotels in this area can be costly. There are also multiple hotels in the area to choose from and did not want our guests to feel limited.

Anna Maria Island has some of the best beaches in Florida. It is approximately 40-45 minutes away from the wedding venue. But if you are looking for a beach getaway as well this is a great place to stay!
