Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

There is no formal dress code, however we suggest 'Funky Formal' attire. Fun colors, textures, prints, etc are welcomed and encouraged! See link below for example! https://www.instagram.com/reel/C79le8SxwGt/?igsh=NnUzcjUweDM0bzJr Note that both the ceremony and reception are held outside. The weather is expected to be sunny and 75-80 during the ceremony and drop to low 60's by the end of the reception. The bride requests guests refrain from entire ensembles or dresses that are primarily white, off-white, ivory, cream or light silver in color.

Question

What do I need to know about Travel to New Mexico?

Answer

Guests traveling to New Mexico need to make sure they drink additional water during their stay in order to stay hydrated. Due to our unusually dry environment and high altitude, guests may experience many things differently. Alcohol may affect people more strongly than normal. Out of town guests may also have difficulty with heat sickness or altitude sickness. Guests should take care to drink additional water, remain cool, and rest if they are not feeling well.

Question

What are the signs of Altitude Sickness?

Answer

Altitude symptoms may resemble hangover or COVID symptoms. They may include dizziness, headaches, muscle aches, nausea, vomiting, fatigue, loss of energy, shortness of breath, loss of appetite, or problems with sleep. Symptoms usually begin within the first day and then lessen over the following few days as a person's body adjusts to the new altitude. Make sure to rest and drink plenty of liquids.
