The dress code for our wedding is black tie optional. Men can choose between a tuxedo or a dark-colored suit and tie. Women are encouraged to wear a full-length dress. While black tie often brings dark tones to mind, guests are welcome to wear colors, including lighter, seasonal tones, prints, or florals. We kindly ask that women not wear white, cream, or ivory. The ceremony will be outside on the lawn (weather permitting), and it may be a bit chilly in early November, so we suggest bringing a jacket or wrap. Also, consider shoes that are easy to walk on grass.
We’ve chosen to make this an adults-only celebration due to the formal setting and appreciate your understanding. We hope it can be a fun night off!
A page to RSVP will be available on this website once you receive your formal invitation. Please submit your RSVP online by September 18, 2026.
We’re arranging a shuttle between Ocean Edge Resort and Wequassett on the day of the wedding. The shuttle will pick up guests in front of the Mansion/Main Building at Ocean Edge and return them there at the end of the night. Shuttle Schedule: - Pick-up from Ocean Edge: 1:45 PM (in front of the Mansion/Main Building) - Return to Ocean Edge: 8:15 PM (after the wedding concludes) and 9:15 PM (after the night cap) To help us plan accordingly, please book using our wedding room block or reservation name. We know some guests may stay at the venue, at nearby Airbnbs, or drive home if local—so stay tuned for more information as we get closer to the date!
It wouldn’t be a party without Rosie Snowsie (Laurora) and Fletch! They’ll be there in their finest wedding-day attire 🐾
We kindly ask that only the guests named on your invitation attend the wedding. If a plus one is included, it will be noted on your invitation.
Yes! There’s plenty of parking at Wequassett. If you plan on enjoying some drinks, we recommend using Uber, Lyft, Cape Cab, or our shuttle for a safe ride. Just keep in mind that during the off-season, wait times on the lower and outer Cape can be longer, so be sure to plan ahead.
We have several recommendations on the Travel tab of this website.
